Annual maintenance prevents premature malfunctions and potential break downs causing big costs for the end user. What can you do to prevent this?
- Replace all parts affected by wear and tear - including gaskets
- Inspect the Fireside of the Heat Exchanger this should be done atleast once per year
- Remove the burner and thoroughly wash and clean the mesh
- Replace old igniter, flame rods and gaskets
- Select the right water treatment to prevent scale. Having a thin film of insulation can drop the boilers efficiency by 12-21%
- Re-start the equipment and adjust the combustion using a calibrated analyzer
- Inspect electrical connections for corrosion
- Clean the condensate trap
